Usage
Displays a link to a page on findagrave.com.
- Syntax:
- {{findagrave|GRid|link text}}
Link text is simply the text you want displayed in place of the link.
You can find the GRid (Grave ID) by inspecting the URL for the find-a-grave page for the person you want to link to. For example, Granny's find-a-grave page has a URL of
- http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GSln=livingston&GSfn=christina&GSbyrel=all&GSdyrel=all&GSob=n&GRid=60409266&df=all&
Upon inspection, you will see GRid=60409266
Therefore, to create a link to Granny's find-a-grave site you simply use:
