- Minutes of October 24, 2010 LFA Board Meeting were read and approved
Treasurer's Report: Enid
- Financial Report
- Checking Account Balance: $1,589.84
- Savings Account Balance: $3,928.70
- Signature Cards have been updated to reflect the following signatories: Chairman, Vice Chairman, Secretary, and Treasurer
- Names listed on the LFA non-profit corporation paperwork has been updated to reflect the current officers
Social Director’s Report: Doug
- 2011 Reunion Plans
- Date: Friday June 10th and Saturday June 11th
- Lehi North Stake recreation property (approximately 2800 North Center Street) has been reserved (Doug/Ron)
- Plans are being made (Steve) for a tour of the Church History Library at :00pm on the 10th followed by a Temple session at 6:00pm for those who wish to attend. Family members will be encouraged to bring names from their research. Breakfast will be served (Doug/Will) on Saturday the 11th from 8:30 to 9:30am. A Business Meeting (Steve) will be held at 10:00am followed by a presentation on current research (Doug/Ron). Games will be provided (Steve) for the children. Family members will be encouraged to attend the Utah Highland Games at Thanksgiving Point. Doug/Will will look into the possibility of family discount ticketing.
- An update to the LFA Wiki (Ross or Doug/Ron) needs to be made asap. The February Newsletter (Dana) will contain a reunion announcement and details. Reminder cards will be mailed in May.
Research Director’s Report: Mary Ann
- Research Project Proposals
- LFA Board Members were each given the login information for the Ancestry.com account.
- National Genealogical Society Standards (see attachment) were adopted by the LFA Board. Every effort will be made to educate family members about them and to encourage them to be followed when generating and sharing genealogical information among the LFA membership.
- Time did not allow for significant discussion of the following proposed projects:
- Henderson Estate Papers
- Livingston/McLea DNA Project & William Livingston
- Maps of Fife (Dalgety) & Lanark (Old Monkland/Bothwell/Shotts)
- LFA Online Archive/Reference Library
