Enid reported that the balance in our checking account is $687.35 and the balance in the savings account is $3,537.76
Reunion Evaluation – Stott Cook and Ann Macdonald
The board agreed that this reunion was a huge success and thanked Stott and Ann for all the work they did to make it so, and to Stott for generously providing the place for the reunion. Also thanks to Lynne for the delicious breakfast. They also thanked Blaine for getting Susan Easton Black to speak. She talked about church history and how our family tied in. She gave an amazing talk and said we could be very proud of our heritage – that of faith and courage. Dave Cook brought two horses that were a hit with the younger kids. Face painting was also fun for them. The artifact displays and the military/missionary lists were wonderful thanks to Ann. Also thanks to Charlene for the awards. And thanks to Ross for the speaker system.
Descendancy Research Project - Blaine Livingston
Blaine has done a great job of collecting descendants of Archibald Livingston. It was noted that James Campbell Livingston seems to have the largest number of descendants, but is that because more of them are active, or because he indeed did have three wives and more descendants. Blaine is now going to start inputting information from the 1980 Livingston Book – which will be quite a project. Thanks Blaine.
Ancestor Research Project - Nadine Curtis
Ted proposed another ancestor research project in addition to the one Nadine is doing. He actually got people to sign up to help with research on family lines. Since more information is now available than ever before, there might be some break-throughs possible.
Newsletter and Mailing List Business - Charlene Clark
Charlene stated that we would do another newsletter in August
Deadline for getting info to her is July 15th
- Stott will write a review of the reunion for the newsletter.
- Ann will pull together a brief history of Joe and Abe Livingston
- Enid will write a history of the crocheted dress with pictures
