Contents

Opening Prayer - Ann Macdonald

Welcome - Ted Livingston

Ted discussed Robert’s Rules of Order and invited us to abide by them in the meeting.

Review Minutes - Enid Cox

Minutes from last meeting read and approved.

Financial Report - Enid Cox

Discussion regarding spending of money and our responsibility to carefully use the donations made to the organization. It was agreed to put a blurb in the newsletter.

Reunion - Ann MacDonald

Ann brought an assignment sheet from Stott and the board reviewed the suggestions. The tentative plans for next year’s reunion to be held at Soldier Hollow Chalet in Heber City - which Stott has reserved and paid for Friday night and Saturday, June 16th and 17th. The place is available to us after 3:00 pm on Friday. That night will be only a campfire and visiting. Saturday will be breakfast, activities and meeting and then a bring-your-own lunch. Stott will do the sign and fires. Ann will develop a theme for the reunion. We talked about a theme – something like “LIVINGSTON LINKS THROUGH TIME”. Blaine was assigned to call Susan Easton Black to see if she was available to speak. If not, he will contact Joseph McConkie. If that doesn’t work, he and Stephen will work up a presentation on power point. Since Stott wasn’t there we volunteered him for the children’s activities. Charlene volunteered to do the awards.

Schedule for the reunion:

Future Reunions

Future reunions will be:

Descendancy Chart Report - Blaine Livingston

There has been a good response from the request for descendancy information. Blaine reports there are now 2200 names on the chart. Article in the newsletter still offering a Livingston patch to anyone who submits their information. This has been a great incentive. Motion made by Blaine to purchase more patches. Second by Charlene. Check given to Blaine for more patches and postage.

Ancestor Research Project

Discussion was held regarding suggestions made by Nadine Curtis for a project. It was agreed that they were all good suggestions. Lynn Herring will work with Nadine Curtis and move forward with a project. Everyone liked the idea presented of a “story book” of our ancestors, but agreed this needed more time. Nadine and Lynn will come up with the project for this year and write a newsletter article about it. Blaine made the motion to bring the maternal lines into the research project. It was seconded by Ann and agreed by all.

Newsletter Report - Charlene Clark

About 100 to 150 people are receiving the newsletter now by email. We are hoping to increase that to reduce mailing expenses. Ross does a great job of converting it to a format that can be accessed on the internet. The next newsletter will go out in February. It will include reunion information, a history, a plea for dues and information about a specific ancestral project. HAVE YOUR ARTICLES TO CHARLENE BY JANUARY 30, 2006.

Website Report - Ross Livingston

Ross has done some great things with the website and the verified information that he has. In the next few months he will continue to work on it. Ross will renew the web site and maintenance.
