Subject: Livingston Family genealogy

Dear Kay,

I have taken the children of Christina Livingston and James Livingstone and followed their families...

Indeed this is a family that would have appeared to have travelled to the four corners of the earth, and yes I am sure you have relatives in Australia and more in the United States....We will start with the children of Granny Livingston...

Archibald was the oldest son of Granny, he lived and died in Scotland as did his wives.........the family knows of his children and all temple work have been done for his children.....

Grace or Grizel Livingston was born 20 Feb 1813 in Dalgety Parish Fife and married William Lindsay

They had the following children and lived in the parish of Sorn, Ayrshire....
Christina Lindsay born 1842 John 1846 , James 1848 Grace 1850 Helen 1858 and William born in 1860 all in the parish of Sorn, Ayrshire.......

Grace Livingston Lindsay died October 17 1890 she died of chronic bronchitis...her son James Livingston Lindsay signed or made his mark on her death certificate....It is stated that she died at a place called Quarage House, Catrine William her husband died before the 1881 census was taken.
all of their children were cotton weavers. Christina married a Charles Higgins and I found one daughter thus far her name was Grace age 8 years in the 1871 census
Grace and Helen Lindsay marriages were found....Grace b. 1850 married David Conn Jan 3 1874 and Helen married a Robert Scott.

All these children were the grand children of Granny Livingston she would have seen the first four children born to this couple, then no more..
