Livingston Family Association
Board Meeting January 7, 2007 at 7:00 pm
Present: Lynne Herring, Ann Macdonald, Ross Livingston, Stott Cook, Charlene Clark, Enid Cox
Excused due to illness: Ted Livingston, Blaine Livingston

Review Minutes of October 2006 Meeting - Enid Cox
- Approved with some changes
Treasurers Report by Enid Cox
501c3 status – update - Ann Macdonald
- Financial Statements for 2005 and 2006 were provided to Dwight Epperson who has promised to try and have it done by the next reunion in June 2007.
- Ann stated that she will stay in touch with him.
Website update – Ross Livingston
- A major renovation of the website is in process.
- Ross suggested we prepare for credit card donations – check to see what it would involve.
Newsletter update - Charlene Clark
- Discussion was held regarding charging for the newsletter, but it was decided to put a blurb on the back of the newsletter saying “If you are NOT interested in receiving the newsletter, please let us know.
- We will do one newsletter and one postcard before the reunion.
- Articles are due no later than February 1, 2007.
- Ross is going to put together a brief history of Birch Creek.
- Stott will contact someone for a brief history of Livingstons in Colorado.
- Char will get history of Isabella.
- Ross will check to see how many actually downloaded the Susan Black talk.
Descendancy Update - Blaine Livingston
- Blaine Livingston was not present to give an update of the descendancy file.
- He continues to work on it.
Ancestor Research Project - Ted Livingston
- Ted was not present to give an update of the ancestor research project.
- He would like an article put in the newsletter stating that if anyone is doing research, please let us know.
June Reunion Plans - Stott Cook and Ann Macdonald
Reunion will be held Friday June 15, 2007 and Saturday June 16, 2007 with the following assignments:
Friday, June 15, 2007:
- Campfire - Stott Cook
- Horses - David Cook
- PotLuck Dutch Oven Desserts - Ted Livingston
- Ancestor Stories - Ann Macdonald
- Put a note in the newsletter that if you have an ancestor story to tell, please contact Ann.
Saturday, June 16, 2007:
- Breakfast - Blaine
- Business Meeting - Lynne
- Gift for Despains
- Financial Report
- Awards
- Elections
- Fire – Stott
- Horses - David
- Kids Activities - Stott
- Cemetery Program - Enid
- Ross will provide list of Livingstons buried there
- Buffet table at noon - Ann
- Sandwiches and drink
- Chairs and tables - Ross (Enid and Glenn have a truck)
- Photographs - Dennis Davis
- Who is going to ask him?

Next Meeting
Third Sunday in April(April 15, 2007) at Charlene Clark's home (829 East Heather Road, Orem, Utah). Our regular second Sunday is Easter Sunday, so it was decided we would meet the following week.
